    Ingredients:
    5 cups sesame seeds/sesame paste 2 cups
    1 1/2 cups olive oil or vegetable oil
    salt
    paprika
    lemon juice
    parsley optional

    Method:
    Preheat oven to 350. Toast sesame seeds for 5-10 minutes, tossing the seeds frequently with a spatula. Do not allow to brown. Cool for 20 minutes.

    Pour sesame seeds into food processor and add oil. Blend for 2 minutes. Check for consistency. The goal is a thick, yet pourable texture. Add more oil and blend until desired consistency (now you have basic sesame paste).

    for preperation of Tahini salad you add 1 cup water in room temp. to 1 cup semsame paste. add : garlic 1 crushed ,  salt and paprika to taste, 2 spoons lemon juice. optional – parsley half cup chopped.

    use less or more water in order to get to desired consistency

    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup Sesame Seeds
    4 cups Maida
    1 cup Sugar
    1 cup Butter
    3 Eggs
    1 tblsp Cake Seeds (Caraway Seeds)
    1/2 cupMilk to mix
    Salt a pinch
    1/4 tsp Baking Soda

    Method:
    Sieve flour with salt and baking powder in a bowl.
    Add sugar, butter, 2 eggs, cake seeds, blend well.
    Add milk little by little and knead to a smooth dough.
    roll out on a floured board 1cm thick and cut out with fancy cookie cutters.
    Brush with remaining egg (well beaten) and sprinkle heavily with sesame seeds.
    Place on a greased baking tray.Bake in a moderate oven for 10 minutes.
    Cool and keep aside. good to be served with tea.

    Ingredients:
    1 lb fresh spinach, stemmed
    1/3 cup toasted sesame seeds
    1/4 cup japanese soy sauce
    1 tbsp mirin or dry sherry
    2 tsp sugar
    8 fresh flowers, opp. garnish

    Method:
    Bring large pot of salted water to boil over high heat. Add spinach and cook 5 minutes. Drain in colander; rinse under cold running water. Gently squeeze dry with hands. Divide spinach evenly amoung 8 salad plates.

    Light crush sesame seeds using mortar and pestle. Transfer to smallbowl. Add soy sauce, mirin, and sugar and blend until smooth. Spoon over spinach. Serve at room temperature or chilled. Garnish each with a flower.
